Each bust is a different need, and we are there to satisfy them. Tell us what you need.
Even the most beautiful or best sewn bra will not fulfill its function if it has been mismatched. Correctly selected size and cut guarantee the desired effect, as well as maximum comfort of wearing throughout the day.
At Krisline, we listen to your needs and try to meet them. We encourage you: use the option of professional selection of a bra. Until recently, it was available only in our stationary store, but we live in a time when more and more services are taking on the most convenient form for customers – remote form. To meet these expectations, we have introduced the option of brafitting on the phone. Buying underwear has never been so easy!
Brafitting on the phone? How does it work?
You probably have a lot of questions now. Below we answer the most frequently asked ones:
1. "How do I prepare for such a conversation? Will I need a tailor's centimeter or other tools?"
You will need a centimeter and a quiet, peaceful place where you can take measurements without haste and then talk freely on the phone. Choosing a bra is an activity that encroaches on your intimacy – so make sure no one invades your privacy. Put a tailor's centimeter within reach. If you already know your dimensions, write them down and place the card in a prominent place to be able to give them to the brafitter. When you are ready – call us.
2. "How is online brafitting carried out?"
We prefer to communicate with customers by phone, but in special cases it is possible to choose underwear via Messenger.
3. "Will I be connected to the brafitter immediately after calling the indicated number, or will there be a date for the interview?"
It depends on whether our brafitter is available. It is also possible to make an appointment for a convenient date for you.
4. "How long does such a conversation last?"
It depends on your individual needs. It can last ten minutes or even three quarters of an hour. The priority is to solve the problem with which you call us.
5. "So this is just one conversation?"
Usually, one or two is enough.
6. "Can I replace the underwear I bought from you if I can't find the right one?"
It is possible to return the purchased underwear and order another. We are currently working on introducing free returns for customers who have used the brafitting service.
7. "In addition to the right size, will you also advise me on the cut?"
Absolutely!
8. "Let's assume that after the conversation I already know what bra I should choose. Will the brafitter immediately check if it is available in the store?"
Of course. Just ask.
9. "Does remote consultation preclude a live meeting?"
Not at all. We cordially invite you to our stationary store, at 89a Łowicka Street in Głowno.
10. "Do I have to send you my photos?"
The decision is yours. Brafitting without photos is also possible! Certainly, help in the form of photography will ensure the right selection of the size and model of the bra.
11. "Brafitting online or via Messenger?"
We conduct brafitting mainly by phone, but in exceptional situations consultations via Messenger are also possible.
Your breasts are in good hands! <3
What does a bra consist of?
Bra bottom band - is the most important, because it supports the bust in 80%
Provides stabilization of cups
Made of elastic materials
It should be at the same level as the underwires
It cannot move upwards
Comes in different widths (width increases with cup size)
Some models have a sewn-in special supporting silicone
Cups - the basic element that provides support
They frame the breasts
They can be strapless and with no underwire
The type of cup mainly determines the appearance of the neckline, the shape of the bust and the level of its elevation.
They are made of various materials depending on the cut: corset foam, embroidery or thermally embossed cups
Centre gore - Placed in the centre of the bra
It "anchors" the bra to the chest
It should fit smoothly against the chest
It prevents the bra from moving sideways
It can have different constructions and heights
Straps - a sense of stability
It is a myth that they are the most important! They are responsible for support in only 20%.
They perform an auxiliary function
Adjust the position of the bust
They allow to lift your breast up
May be built-in or removable; crossed on the back or stomach or put on the neck.
They increase the feeling of stability
2. Adjustment of straps
Well-adjusted shoulder straps:
Are comfortable and do not bear the weight of the bust
Should be taut so that you can put 2-3 fingers under them on your arm
The tension depends largely on the distance between the base of the bust and the tip of the shoulder
If the bottom band is too loose, the shoulder straps take the full weight of the breast support.
As a result:
The straps cut into the body and give painful pressure
They leave red marks on the shoulders
They cause discomfort and muscle tension in the cervical region
3. Bra cup fitting
When the cup size is correct
The underwires cover the entire breast, and their end "aims" at the center of the armpit
The bra centre gore lies flat against the chest
The breast profile is smooth and the bust is nicely lifted and drawn inwards
4. Band too large and cup too small
When the bottom band and cup are properly fit:
Underwires surround the entire breast, lie flat on the breast bone and ribs
Bottom band is stable
The bust is nicely rounded and lifted
THE MOST COMMON PROBLEMS
Shoulder straps cutting into the tissue
Probably the bra bottom band is too loose and the straps took over the main role of supporting the weight. You should choose a bra with a smaller band size.
INFO: with larger breasts, redness may occur, but it should disappear after a few minutes after removing the bra.
Sliding shoulder straps
It may be caused by wrong shoulder strap adjustment. If that doesn't help, try a different cut, with the straps closer to the neck. You can also check if the cups and bra bottom band are correctly selected and do not move the bra upwards, which reduces the tension of the straps.
Centre gore protruding from the chest
Probably the cups are too small and push the entire bra away from the chest, creating a gap. The bra band may also be too loose.
INFO: if the chest is sunken or protruding, the central panel will not fit perfectly even in a correctly selected bra. Then you should focus on other aspects of brafitting.
Spilling of breast tissue over the top of the cup and under the armpit
The cups are too small and its edge "cuts" through the bust.
Underwires digging into breast tissue
It results from a too small cup size. This is very risky for your breast condition.
Underwires overlapping the back
Probably the cup is too big and does not support the bust properly. The bra's bottom band may also be too tight.
Empty space above the lowest point of the underwire
It is usually caused by a too tight bottom band. The breast tissue may also spill over the top of the cups. Another reason may be that the cup is too large.
Hooks at the height of the shoulder blades
The bottom band is too loose and moves up. You should choose a smaller size so that the height of the hooks remained at the level of the bust. The correct bottom band size should not cause any discomfort and breathing difficulties.
Empty cups
A protruding and wrinkling cup is the result of too large cup size.
How to fit bra correctly?
1. BAND SIZE FITTING
Correct bottom band:
Flat against the body at the same height at the front and rear
Stable and does not move
The height of the hooks remains in line with the bust
Gives the breasts adequate support
Too loose band under the bust is the most common mistake when choosing a bra:
Hooks part escape towards the nape of the neck
Bottom band slides over the body
Shoulder straps fall off the shoulders despite their adjustment
Breast profile slopes downwards
Breasts slide out from under the bra
